How many years of a language do I need to go to college?
In order to be eligible for UC/CSU requirements, as well as many other colleges, you will need to successfully complete* Level 2-Semester 2 of either French or Spanish. However, this is the minimum requirement. In order to be truly competitive, you will need to successfully complete Level 3-Semester 2 of either French or Spanish.

What happens if I don't meet the prerequisites for a class that I want to take?
You can always appeal to be allowed into the course that you want. Your previous scores, classwork, and overall knowledge will be taken into account. The final decision will be made by the Department Chair and the Principal.
